Project Management & UI/UX Design

As a proactive team member at PalmDrive, I recognized the need to attract and engage with the organization's targeted audience in a unique and innovative way. Through my research and observation, I identified that many students studying abroad face a common desire of trying to remember and document the small, but meaningful moments of their experience.

With this insight, I proposed the idea of a WeChat mini program called "100 Things to be Done," which aimed to help international students keep track of and document their experiences abroad. I was appointed as the project manager by our senior team lead and managed a team of developers and designers to ensure the successful execution of the project, from conceptualization to final development and deployment.

I worked in close collaboration with the back-end development team to create sitemaps, mockups, and wireframes to ensure that the design and functionality of the product were fully aligned with the project's goals.

I oversaw the entire project lifecycle from ideation to branding to advertising. Through my effective project management and communication skills, I was able to facilitate a smooth and seamless project development process, resulting in the successful launch of the product.

As a direct consequence of the program's success, alongside other concurrent campaigns, the WeChat official account for PalmDrive's subsidiary - Pokeji, experienced a 75% increase in user base, solidifying its position in the market and enabling it to better engage with its target audience.

Graphic Design

As a graphic designer for PalmDrive and its subsidiary Owl Academy, I created and designed digital, marketing, and print materials. My responsibilities included branding for subsidiary products, designing a service overview handbook, creating advertising posters and animations, and designing newsletters.

To execute these projects, I utilized a range of design software and creative problem-solving skills, ensuring that the designs were both aesthetically pleasing and in line with the branding guidelines. I worked closely with different teams, including marketing, sales, and development, to ensure that the materials I designed aligned with their objectives and requirements.

Overall, this experience equipped me with a broad range of skills, including design, branding, and communication, that I can utilize in future roles in the marketing and design industries.
